Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art 1 & 2 is a stylish neo-classical venue for a formal evening of events with an extensive parkland and unique interior artworks. The two buildings, Modern One and Two, are set in a beautiful sculpture park, ideal for both indoor and outdoor gatherings.
Guests of wedding receptions, private dinners, outdoor parties and BBQs can also be treated to an exclusive private view of the Gallery’s treasured art collection in the company of an expert curator.
For larger events, Scottish National Portrait Gallery’s Great Hall offers the ideal city location in one of Edinburgh’s most striking event venues displaying the works of famous Scots from Royals and rebels to poets. With stained glass windows, an astrological ceiling and painted murals, this venue is rich and atmospheric. Alongside this, the Gallery’s Hawthorn Lecture Theatre, complete with tiered seating for up to 250 people and dining for 160.
