Last week we were lucky enough to be invited by Maximillion events to join their demonstration to showcase their all new online team building event. With 52 participants and 12 teams we joined with four Sodexo teams, three from our sales hub and the other from our central marketing team, to try our hand at this new activity.
What’s involved with online teambuilding events?
Having read through the pre-reads, downloaded the Mobile Adventures app and joined the Zoom call, the introduction was hosted collectively with all the instructions and directions communicated to the participants by the Event Manager from Maximillion, Ross Gardiner. Each team was then given their own chat room where we could see each other and chat opening whilst we grappled with the questions to get us through the maze. From geography to general knowledge, politics to party drinks the questions spanned all genre and then came the challenges! Making videos, creating flags, solving puzzles and somehow managing to capture it with photographic evidence!
Before we knew it the hour was up and all the teams gathered together again virtually to find out how we had done. Prizes for the winners and a wooden spoon for those propping up the rear! A great time washed by all, we all commented on how good it was to see each other again, albeit virtually, but to have some fun and banter as we would normally have done in the office. It’s a great way to work together, have some fun and get those brain cells working!
