Entertainment – Walking into the Imperial War Museum London is jaw dropping for all ages, with nuclear warheads donning the entrance hall and WWII spitfires hanging suspended over visitors’ heads. The museum tells the stories of those whose lives have been impacted by conflict, from the First World War to the present day in an accessible, educational and family friendly way.
Food – Run by London restauranteurs, Peyton and Byrne, the IWM café is known for its cosy seating and fresh food. Situated on a mezzanine, the café has incredible views of the museum’s main hall and serves wood-fired pizza made with seasonal ingredients as well as classic British cakes, such as lemon drizzle, chocolate Guinness cake and their world-famous carrot cake.

Entertainment - The Crystal exhibition explores the future of cities, the environment and people with colour, interactivity and imagination - the ‘Future Life’ theatre even invites guests to imagine how cities might look in 2050! It’s the perfect space to have fun whilst picking up a fact or two. Plus, Easter themed craft events will be hosted at The Crystal for the duration of the school holidays.
Food – The Crystal Café overlooks the beautiful waters of Royal Victoria Dock. Offering healthy, fresh food, light-snacks and treats, their menu focuses on provenance and sustainability as well as flavour. Entertainment - From Good Friday to Saturday 31st March, Knebworth House will be hosting an Easter Trail in their majestic gardens. Children are invited to follow the trail symbols to claim an Easter surprise, whilst parents can take in the spring flowers, the wide-open parkland and explore the Edwardian maze. Trail Sheets will be available from the Gift Shop for £1 (sold separately to Park & Gardens admission, last sheet sold 3:00 pm).
Food – The Garden Terrace Tea Room is nestled away in a delightful oak barn on the edge of Knebworth House Gardens. During the warmer months, guests can enjoy refreshments al fresco, including hearty homemade soups and sandwiches, ice creams and afternoon tea.

The National Football Stadium: Hampden Park
Entertainment – Take a ‘behind the scenes’ tour of Scotland’s National Stadium! Follow in the footsteps of legends and explore the underground roadway, the team changing rooms and walk onto the famous Hampden pitch for your chance to score a goal. Put one in the back of the net and the speed of your shot will be electronically measured, with the Top 100 being registered on their website. Good luck!
Food – Hampden Park’s café offers fresh, colourful salads, paninis and, of course, comfort food – jacket potatoes and homemade soups, cups of tea and hot chocolate. This Easter, the café’s coffee supplier, Costa, will be running a craft competition for kids with the tempting prize of a giant Easter egg up for grabs!
